I apologize that it has been a few weeks since our last prayer update. There has been a LOT going on here!

I’ll intermix the answered prayers with the new requests.

1. A few weeks, we asked folks to pray that the Lord would give us clarity about whether or not we should let a particular  house we had under contingent contract in Nashville go when our house didn’t sell in the allotted time period. HE ANSWERED, WE DID and HAVE NOT REGRETTED IT FOR A SECOND. Thank you, friends, and thank you, Lord!

2. We asked folks to pray that the Lord would allow our house to sell as quickly as possible for a good (or at least good enough) price . As of yesterday, we are elated to announce that our house in Louisville IS NOW UNDER CONTRACT and set to close within 45-60 days! If you have ever bought or sold a home before, you know that a contract doesn’t necessarily equal a closing but this is the first major step in that direction. Would you rejoice with us in God’s answer AND pray that we could get through the inspection and close this home without incident?

3. We have prayed for months that the Lord would provide the right house in Franklin that would put us in our target area, be large enough for all 7 of us, be in our price range, be in a neighborhood full of young kids and families, and be in the right school district. As of yesterday morning, one of the properties we had been watching for months that fit all of these criteria cut the price $10,000 which dropped it into our range. Upon seeing this and talking to our realtor, I dropped what I was doing, drove to Nashville, saw it in person and now we have a contract on that house  Please pray that if this is truly where the Lord wants us to be that this will come together in the time needed.

Finally, please pray for our support raising journey.
God has been very kind in providing a number of partnerships right away and there are many more contacts being made for potential partnerships for next year. We are thankful for these. We are also very mindful of the fact that our fundraising goal for financing the vision God has given us for the next three years is substantial – $625,000. Please pray that:

• Partners who have committed with follow through in a timely fashion
• More partnerships with churches will be secured in the coming weeks
• God would open doors with another partnering network/denomination 
• We would have favor as we begin the next phase of our partner development strategy – casting the vision with key individuals (both in person and through support letters) in the coming weeks.
